hi guys im back from Cambodia!!! its been a while since i really updated my blog, so here goes!

i set off for Cambodia on 16th april morning. reached there round 8 plus. the time there was an hr slower than Spore. so, yeah. i really got a culture shock when i reached there.

i was prepared to see a 3rd world country though, but i was still shocked. their roadways are all way. meaning? they com e and go like this. there's no lanes indicated or which directions to go. jus honk to make ur presense heard and known. we're jus like roadkills when we walked along the roads. and their motobikes and vans are like so fully utilised. a mini van can load up to over 30 ppl! even to the extent of sitting on the rooftop! their bikes? loaded up with at least 5 to 6 boxes of stuffs. yeah they jus balanced it on the bikes and zoom! off they go! man were we flabbergasted and impressed at the same time.

reached the hospital. met up with the other group. their job was done before schedule - laying bricks to form a pathway. chatted abit and went off to our bunk where we gonna stay. its this long room which i think consisted of at least 3-4 rooms combined. and it required major cleaning.

lunch. the utensils before eating everytime needs to be wipe sparkling clean for hygiences purposes. the food was alright. in a developing country wat more can u ask? overall we started on our work pronto. now i have appreciated those foreign workers that comes over to Spore to help us with the construction and all. because i know how they feel. under the hot sun, sweating ur shit out to do work. we completed our work rite on schedule. and the sense of achievement is something the whole group is proud of.

thru this trip i've got to know alot of nice ppl and make new frens with them. without them on this trip i wont know how to survive then. back in Spore now, the trip have somehow changed me. Compared to Cambodia, Spore has everything in order, traffic lights, lanes, zebra crossing, buses, trains and all the fucking shits. 2 weeks back in Cambodia was so much different. dust everywhere, food's not clean. poor dirty kids loitering around the streets. now i really appreciated the gd life im having and im seeing everything in a new light.

im jus thankful for the life and friends i have.

feeling cambodia.
